Why take a homebuyer education course?

Many down payment and closing cost grants, as well as some special loan products, require completion of a homebuyer education course for first-time homebuyers. Some lenders may also require it.

Participants in the sessions are encouraged to ask questions, take notes, and learn from each other as well. Homebuyer Education Sessions are free to attend, and light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited and participants must sign up in advance.
