WISCONSIN HELP FOR HOMEOWNERS
Wisconsin Help for Homeowners, is a statewide, federally-funded program that can help with overdue bills like mortgage payments, property taxes, utilities, and more. The program is open to individuals and families who live in Wisconsin with overdue housing-related bills, both with and without a mortgage, who meet income and other eligibility requirements, and have experienced a qualified economic hardship since January 21, 2020. If you have already received a foreclosure filing notice, contact Mediate Milwaukee to apply for mediation services. Foreclosure mediation helps homeowners facing foreclosure work with their mortgage companies through the assistance of a mediator. The mediator is a professional who understands mortgage companies’ loan modification review process and who is trained to improve communication between the parties.
