Homebuyer Education Workshop (Session II)

TUESDAY, APRIL 9TH FROM 5:30PM TO 7:30PM

Take the first step to homeownership and attend a Homeworks for Homebuyers Education workshops with HRI! 

You must have attended workshop on the 2nd and attend on the 16th after this session.

These monthly workshops are designed to provide an extensive overview of the home buying process.

Find out if purchasing a home is right for you; what you need to know before you purchase a home; and learn about the role of real estate professionals in your purchase.

Completion of education classes is required for most down payment and closing cost grants as well as many special loan products.

After completing the workshops, you must sign-up for a one-on-one counseling session or attend credit counseling based upon your assessmentYou will be required to provide all required intake information in order to receive a certificate of completion for the workshops.

Some Topics include:

  • Learning to calculate how much you can afford
  • Applying and qualifying for mortgage loans
  • Overcoming barriers that may prevent your home purchase
  • Down payment and closing cost assistance
  • Purchasing foreclosed properties
Child care not available. Refreshments provided. Seating is limited.
